Manufacturers comments:
We think the 1949 Chris-Craft 19 ft. Racing Runabout is our sleekest looking Chris-Craft to date.
Our 1/8th scale version of this popular racer is 28 inches long with a 9 inch beam.
The wood framed hull is covered with expanded pvc and then planked with mahogany veneer. Like our other Chris-Crafts this kit features the finest materials including chrome plated dack fittings complete drive line hardware flag and burgee. Each kit contains everything needed to build a beautiful static display model for the office or den.
Or make her RC with a two channel radio Dumas #2025 motor NiCad batteryand speed control.
You will want to make the powerful Racing Runabout the next addition to you fleet.

My comments:
I placed the order for this boat and also for the Dumas Chris-Craft Runabout Kit 36" and some other building materials like fiberglass cloth etc. from Tower Hobbies at the same time this boat arrived after only 6 days but the other one did not (more here).
After careful inspection and cross referencing the content of the box with the materials list in the manual I discovered that a couple of items where missing so I contacted Dumas Products and they have promissed to send the missing items.

The brief list of the box content is a follows:
A1 full size drawing.
A3, 5 sheet double sided illustration manual.
A4, 34 page instruction manual (very good and clear instructions best I have ever seen to date)
7 sheets of die cut mahogany ply wood .
7 sheets of die cut Expanded PVC (to be used of skinning the hull before veneering with mahogany)
assortment of mahogany veneer, poplar wooden strips, 1 pieces of lasercut balsa,1 piece of laser cut mahogany of .
