The final area of planking was the transform which was completed using the 1/2" (1.27mm) mahogany planks.
Once the planking was finished then a few hours of sanding was required to smooth down the entire boat in preparation for staining. I also planked some small pieces of wood using leftover mahogany and styrene these pieces will be use to test the epoxy resin before using the resin on the boat.
