This is the worktop I made for building the boat on. It is 100x30x10mm piece off wood on which I have drawn the exact spacing of each frame and also line down the centre where the keel will be. And a view of the keel on the worktop, note you can see the lines match the cut out areas on the keel where the frames will be slotted in.

I glued up the lubrication hole of prop shaft as due to the nature of the design it ended up in a difficult place to reach and in my view would create problems later on. To lubricated the prop shaft at a later date I will have to drop the rudder out and pull out the center shaft, a lot of work I know but I recon I will only need to do this perhaps once a year at the begging of the session. One by one the frames are glued in place constantly checking the alignment both against the keel and each other. I spot glued them in place using quick drying PVA (wood glued) the coated the joins with 5 minute epoxy.

Placed the 3x5mm upper and 3x10mm lower strips in place, this was rather tricky especially in the bow area as the strips where not very cooperative and had to be held in place securely. I did have a small disaster at this stage, o glued in the bow and of one of the upper strips and left it over night only to find it had slightly move out of place but enough for me to have to spend an entire day with a sharp modeling knife carefully cutting out the strip and re-gluing it in place the next day.
